Maroth Gone
Rumor is Maroth has been traded to the Cardinals for a minor-leaguer to be named later. More details tonight I am sure.

Farewell
Goodbye Wilfredo Ledezma. I was a big fan of yours and even went to one of your autograph signings. I was upset by this trade initially, but McBride looks like a good player. I personally believe Ledezma could be a 15 game winner in the big leagues. He struggled this year a little bit, but showed great signs of promise last year.
Congratulations to Sammy Sosa, 600 Home Runs! That is unbelievable. I only hope you and Mark McGwire can both enter the Hall of Fame.
Finally, Jeremy Bonderman 8-0! This is incredible to see. You deserve all the run support you can get. Especially after starting the year with five no decisions and then missing an additional three starts due to a blister. I sure hope you get recognized as an All-Star this year. Remember back in the day when Kenny screwed Bondo over for the All-Star spot in Detroit? Oh how things have changed.

Starting Rotation
Whatever will the Tigers do with Kenny and Nate coming back. Everyone has been throwing out their expert opinions. Personally the dumbest one of all is putting Andrew Miller in the bullpen. I have heard that countless times and it is beyond me what good that would do. Personally, I think we should consider a six man rotation for a month or two. We want Verlander's arm to stay strong in Sept/Oct, we already had Nate get a tired arm, and by keeping Miller in the rotation it would be best to give him 5 days off between starts. As far as Maroth goes, I hate to see a long-time Tiger go, but however I understand why we would get rid of him. The bullpen is a possibility, and for those who say he did bad last year, well I believe it was because he wasn't fully healthy. The one thing I would still like to see is a demotion or trade of Grilli. He just isn't cutting it. Once Miner is back, Grilli should go. I wouldn't mind a bullpen of Miner, Maroth/Durbin, Ledezma, Byrdak, Seay, Rodney, Jones, and De La Cruz. Personally, I still think Ledezma will come through and be our 7th inning guy. Also look out for Bazardo, he did pretty good here in Detroit.

This is my first post. I am a college student who dreams to be the general manager of the Detroit Tigers one day. Dave Dombrowski is my hero.
I am currently working on getting an internship at 1270 WXYT to help with Tigers post-game show.
I am a huge autograph and memorbilia collector. Anything Tigers I love and also Hall of Famers.
The point of this blog is to mainly focus on the 2007 season. Section 345 is the $5 seats where my dad and I sit. I hope you enjoy.
